Hyper-V host fails to initialize and is showing offline. The following message may be seen in the vWorkspace console:
"Remote computer could not send a heartbeat to the broker. Setting host to [Offline]".
When enabling the Hyper-V Catalyst Service log the following message may be seen:
"GetHostPerfData Unknown error 0x80131500"
Ensure the following registry keys have not been set:
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\PerfDisk\Performance\Disable Performance Counter = 1
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\PerfNet\Performance\Disable Performance Counter = 1
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\PerfOS\Performance\Disable Performance Counter = 1
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\PerfProc\Performance\Disable Performance Counter = 1
If any are set to 1, change to 0 and restart the Quest Hyper-V catalyst service on the host.
In the vWorkspace console the host should come back online automatically. If it does not right click and select "initialize".
