When Connecting the OCS/Lync report pack to a Lync pool the following error is displayed:
"The OLE DB Provider "SQLNCLI" for linked server "SERVERNAME" does not contain the table ""LcsCDR",."dbo"."UriTypes"". The Table either does not exists or the current user does not have permissions to that table"
This can be casued if the Lync Monitoring and Archiving roles are not enabled in the Lync environment, or incorrect permissions have been supplied to the SQL Login used by the report pack.
In the MessageStats console, when you set up the initial connection to the OCS/Lync Server Archiving and CDR SQL Server databases, you must also specify a SQL Authentication account and password.
The SQL account must have the following database role memberships in the OCS and Lync CDR and Archiving databases:
• db_datareader
• public
Additionally the Monitoring and Archiving Roles must be installed in the Lync Environment. For more information on this see the section titled: "Configuring Lync Server 2010" in the User Guide for the OCS/Lync Report pack.
