Syntax is not correct when creating a synonym going through a linked server

When creating a synonym, going through a linked_server, Toad gives this code:
USE [SPE]; GO CREATE SYNONYM [dbo].[TEST] FOR [XXX_ORACLE].[XXX].[ITS_A_VIEW]; GO
However, the correct way to write it is with a double ".", following the linked server, or it won't work:
USE [SPE]; GO CREATE SYNONYM [dbo].[TEST] FOR [XXX_ORACLE]..[XXX].[ITS_A_VIEW]; GO
해결 방안
WORKAROUND: Manually place the second "." following the linked server.
STATUS: This issue is fixed in Toad for SQL Server 6.7. This version can be downloaded from the downloads section of our website, which you can access by clicking here.
