설명
In v12.2, when connecting to a SQL Server 2000 database, the following error shows: 'Monitored Server - SQL Server Connection Failure: Cannot connect to SQL Server instance: The instance of SQL Server you attempted to connect to does not support encryption. [0x80131904]'
원인
SQL Server 2000 connections are no longer supported in Spotlight v12.2
해결 방안
WORKAROUND: Maintain a separate older Spotlight version on another machine to monitor SQL 2000 databases
STATUS: Enhancement request DS-1279 has been submitted to Development for consideration in a future release of Spotlight Enterprise.
Please note, this enhancement is to better handle the error, to show a more meaningful message of no support for SQL 2000, as opposed to re-including SQL2000 support in future versions of Spotlight
