Only able to see default database in dropdown of Object Explorer or Query Editor

After trying to turn off/on multi-threading, my Impala connection no longer shows the correct databases when connected. It only shows the "default" database anymore. There are not any other databases in the drop-down. Queries can still be run, like a select count(*) on a different database and table and it returns results. So, it appears permission to run queries has not been lost, as it is also happening on a different ID as well.

Uncheck “Enable Caching” option, which can be found by selecting Tools | Options | Database | Cache, and click Apply.
