설명

Monitoring SQL Server 2012/2014 instances with non-SA account gives below error message. User has executed permissions script in Deployment Guide for non-SA users. User is also local admin on monitored server.
"SQL Agent - Status: The SQL Server Agent service status cannot be determined because a registry key cannot be read due to lack of permission."
해결 방안

Non-sysadmin users can use Spotlight but with some limitation. Spotlight Deployment Guide states this limitation. Refer to ‘How to grant SQL Server account permissions to a trusted user’ section on page 50.
This error should only appear in certain drilldowns.
