Backslash character (“\”) in the NetVault Database password

If a backslash character (“\”) is in the NetVault Database password, the NetVault Backup Service fails to start after installation. This issue applies to both new and upgrade installations. When upgrading from 9.2, the NetVault Database is not migrated if the database password contains a backslash character (“\”).
원인
This is a product defect.
해결 방안
WORKAROUND:
Use a password with no slash character.
STATUS:
Issue fixed in a future version of NetVault Backup.
