NOTE: instructions have been confirmed for versions 5.1.284 (Android) and 5.1.1037(iOS) and an email needs to be configured on the device to complete the steps
To generate the troubleshooting report to aid in diagnosing KACE GO app issues follow the below steps:
On iOS:
- On iOS device load up the KACE GO app
- Log in to the application
- Tap on the side menu (orange K at the top left corner)
- Tap on Help
- Tap on About
- on the about page, tap the word "Version" 4-5 times (see reference image below)
- If done correctly, a system message "Running Troubleshooting operation" will show up
- Once the information is gathered, it will attach itself to an email automatically (send this email to the pertinent party)
On Android:
- On Android device load up the KACE GO app
- Log in to the application
- Tap on the options menu at the top right corner (the three dots)
- Tap on Help
- Tap on About
- on the about page, tap the word "Version" 4-5 times (see reference image below)
- If done correctly, a system message "Running Troubleshooting operation" will show up
- Once the information is gathered, it will attach itself to an email automatically (send this email to the pertinent party)
