Verify that the port specified during the install has been open on the firewall. To verify this, from the server that is failing to register, open a command prompt and use the following command:
telnet <Intrust servername> <port>
where <port> is the port number specified during the install of InTrust.
If the connection is successful, a blank command prompt window, then the port on the firewall is open. If the connection fails, an error indicating a failure to connect will be indicated.
