There are 2 steps that needs to be performed in this situation: 1. Restart the SQL Server instance you are pulling auditing information from 2. Increase the Global timeout setting by doing the following steps: Start ApexSQL Audit GUI -> Home -> Options -> General -> Advanced -> put Global timeout on 300 seconds
