Uninstall:
1- Uninstall all Active Administrator agents from your console
2- Close all Active Administrator consoles and uninstall Active Administrator server and console from Control Panel or Programs and Features in your Active Administrator server.
3- Delete the following directories:
C:\Program Files\Quest\Active Administrator
C:\ProgramData\Quest\Active Administrator
C:\ProgramData\Quest Software
C:\ProgramData\QuestSoftware
4- Open your registry editor, search for
Active Administrator and delete any registry key that is found with this name.
Install: 1- Validate that the latest zip file downloaded from support.quest.com containing installation media for Active Administrator is not blocked. If this file is blocked, then please unblock this file.

2- Once the above file is unblocked, then extract installation media. Ignore these first two steps if there is no "Unblock" under Advanced from the zip file properties.
3- Right-click
autorun.exe and run it as administrator.
4- Go to Install and install Active Administrator server component first. Click Finish, this should launch AA Configuration Wizard automatically.
5- Apply license file again.
6- Create a passphrase. You may specify the same passphrase you created during your first install.
7- Specify SQL Server name and select existing databases (both main and archive dbs).
8- Run through the wizard until it completes successfully.
9- Go back to setup screen and install Active Administrator Console component.
10- Deploy or install your Active Administrator agents.
