Provisioning Failure
If a Desktop Authority provisioning failure is received or if the client provisioning box appears at each logon, it means that Smart Client Provisioning was unable to install the Desktop Authority client files on the machine on which this error appears. This article will describe the steps to take to ensure that Smart Client Provisioning will be able to install the client files.
In order to install the client files, Smart Client Provisioning needs to be able to either remotely access the machine from one of the Desktop Authority services, or acquire administrative privileges via elevation.
