The restore process completes normally and the PST file size on disk shows that there is information in it yet it appears to be empty when viewed in Outlook.
System Mailboxes and/or System Folders is checked.
Open the Recovery Manager for Exchange console and go to the Action menu and choose Settings.
Remove the checkmarks beside 'System Mailboxes' and 'System Folders' and click OK
Perform your restore again and the items will be visible in Outlook.
Recovery Manager for Exchange will allow you to see items above the Top of the Information Store and Top of Personal Folders yet Outlook does not display this information.
