Following the initial deployment of a GME installation which was tested to migrate data successful the workstation was cloned to create multiple GME workstations. The cloned machines were unable to migrate any mail data using Batch Migration and this error is displayed:
ERROR: The Exchange Migration Admin could not access the users mailbox.
The Migration Admin must have Receive As” permission to the mail store.
With Exchange 2003, this permission must be assigned directly within the mail store properties using Exchange System Manager.
This problem was caused by the cloning process corrupting the Outlook Profile.
To solve this issue, reconfigure the Outlook profile by removing and recreating it from the Account Properties in Outlook or from the Mail Control Panel in Windows and then test to ensure you can open the Migration Admin Mailbox in Exchange.
Also make sure that cache mode has been disabled in Outlook as this could cause the issue and may have been set by Autodiscovery.
Also be aware that cloning may cause a problem with Trusted API in Groupwise and you may have to regenerate the TK key in the GME ini by blanking the value out to leave TK= in the gwmigapp.ini in order to reset this.
