The Sybase cartridge has been loaded and the Sybase agent created.
The Sybase agent appears in the "Agent Status" dashboard, however data collection cannot be started.
When the Sybase remote agent tries to connect, it fails. The following error appears in the agent log:
"Sybase_MDA_Impl::SetUpOCS: Exception thrown attempting to connect to ASE"
"Call to ct_connect failed: username: <username>, server: <servername>"
"Cannot open ASE monitoring connection. Username: <username>. Servername: <servername>"
The user entered in the Agent properties to connect to the Sybase instance has "sa" and "mon" roles.
The FglAM is installed on a Windows server.
In the Agent properties (ASP) under Sybase Home, enter the Sybase Home location that is on the same server as the FglAM.
For Windows, it would be "C:\Sybase":
1. Go to “Administration | Agents | Status”
2. Select the Sybase agent and click "Edit Properties"
3. Click on "Modify the properties for this agent"
4. In the "Sybase Home (SSYBASE)" field, enter the path for the Sybase directory that is on the same server as the FglAM.
