This issue is most commonly due to problems with the Outlook MAPI profile.
1 - Run a "fixmapi" command from the command line on the migration console.
2 - Make sure that you have a default profile set and that the "cached mode" is not enabled.
3 - If all else fails, re-install the outlook client.
