How is the GWIA LDAP Context setting in directory exporter used ?
The Groupwise domain database may not contain the SMTP email address information, probably due to corruption. We specify the GWIA LDAP Context to tell the directory exporter where to retrieve the smtp address.
This field, GWIA LDAP Context is optional since the required information is available in the domain database.
From the documents:
GWIA LDAP Context: This value is the same as the GroupWise Internet Agent setting. If necessary you can find this path by using the NetWareAdministrator program, NWAdmin or ConsoleOne: From the Tools menu, select GroupWise View..., and then select the GWIA object from the GroupWise Domain object. From the Object menu, select Details ..., and then click LDAP Settings. Use the value found in LDAP context (Search Root or Search Base) — for example: o=acme,c=us.
This field is not used to determine of the scope where directory exporter will read the list of mailboxes. All mailboxes are exported during directory export. Administrators will still need to hand-edit the CSV files to manage the list of users to be migrated at any one time. Administrators can use the csv file to manage the number of users to migrate at any time.
