"Object reference not set to an instance of an object" error when connecting to a database. (4290452)

When I connect to a database, I get the following error.

"Object reference not set to an instance of an object."
 

1. Close our of Toad – Won’t work with it running

2. Go to:

'C:Users\<your_user>\AppData\Roaming\Quest Software' for Windows 7
OR
'C:\Documents and Settings\<your_user>\Application Data\Quest Software' for Windows XP

NOTE: AppData is a hidden folder. Make sure you enable “View hidden folders” in Windows.

3. Rename the Toad for Data Analysts 3.X to Toad for Data Analysts 3.X_OLD
