I recieve multiple alarms on same event & same timeframe.
For example, if I recieve an alarm 'CPU Utilization' for VM1.
I see 3 or 4 'CPU Utilization' alarm for VM1 for same time frame 5:40 PM.
How to fix this duplication?
Make sure below:
Please check for legacy Agents on the Administration tab.
1. Go to the VMware / VMware Environment dashboard
2. Click on the Administration tab
3. Click on the Legacy Agent Status link
4. On page that appears, check the dates of the last update. If it is recent then the legacy agent is still running.
If there is a legacy agent running, you can find the host name by:
1 go to Configuration / Data /
2 Expand VMware
3 Expand VMware Agents
4 Select agent
5 Find the Host Name in the property viewer view.
