The error returned may appear similar to:
Error:
LiteSpeed for SQL Server 6.*
Could not determine required MTF file count from LS backup files.
Check supplied backup filenames.
Incorrect syntax/parameters or API connection failure.
WORKAROUND:
Verify the syntax used in the command line. All parameters are lised in the LiteSpeed Help file.

To troubleshoot:
Rerun the command with logging for details of the failure.

The log file should be small. The location of the log is determined by the path in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Imceda\SQLLiteSpeed\Engine\ErrorLogPath -- The default for version 6.x is: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Quest Software\LiteSpeed.
