Following a completed CMN installation one of the Free Busy Services fails to start and the CMN console times out when if the user tries to start the service.
Upon inspecting the Windows Event Application log an error was reported stating that the CMN.API.FreeBusy.DominoLibrary2.dll file could not be found.
Administration rights to the CMN program directectories were not set correctly. In an example scenario the CMNDominoFreeBusy service would not start. The path to the executable was:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Quest Software\Quest Coexistence Manager for Notes\Free Busy Connector\DominoFreeBusyService\DominoFreeBusyService.exe"
To solve this issue select the Parent directory of the Free Busy Services, for example the "Free Busy Connector" directory and open the Properties.
Under the Security tab, click Advanced the Change Permissions and Add the Administration Account that is being used to start the CMN services with Full Control and select the "Replace All child object Permissions....." option, click Apply and Ok 3 times and then perform a Repair install of the problem CMN componant.
Once the machine is restarted the problem service should start correctly.
