A new machine needs to be backed up, but is not currently added to Client Management on the NetVault Backup Server.
In order to add a new Windows client to your NetVault Backup Server, you should only need to:
-- Install the Client version of NetVault backup on the new machine
-- Open your Windows Services control panel and "Disable" the Windows firewall service -- If this isn't an option, we can assist with opening the required firewall ports
-- On your NetVault Server, open the NetVault GUI's Client Management
-- If you don't see the new server listed in the right under "Available NVBU Machines", type the IP of the new server into the "Find" box and hit enter
-- When you see the new server's name in the right-hand list, right-click on it and choose "Add as Client"
-- If you set a password on the new Client installation, you will need to enter that password in the pop up security box
-- You should then see a message that the client was added successfully.
