dsa.log has the following lines
10/31/11 12:42:01 (GMT+01:00) Target JobID:0 -> CFG: finished parentGUIDs request
10/31/11 12:42:02 (GMT+01:00) Target JobID:0 -> CFG: 82 matched 0 remaining 1 located
10/31/11 12:42:02 (GMT+01:00) Common Error 0xe1000005. Internal DSA error
i.e. An internal dsa error comes up right after "CFG: finished parentGUIDs request" and in the line before the error "located" is preceeded by any number other than zero
This is caused by having same / duplicated object pair in ADAM, where could only be happen by ADAM replication.
For example:
QMM Cconsole1 connected to ADAM1 migrates user1 from source to target. At the same time QMM console2 connected to ADAM2 migrates the same user between same domains. As a result ADAM has two different source\user1->target\user1 objectpairs. DSA coming across this will fail with the error mention.
This is resolved by running Remove Duplicate ADAM Entries Script v 1.0.2 attached
The script help to resolve the following issue:
If you have two or more replicated ADAM instances used for QMM migration or synchronization, and migrate the same objects with different DSA agents connected to different QMM instances between the ADAM replications, then after the migration you have two entries about the same pair of mapped objects in each of the ADAM instances. As a result, QMM migration and synchronization is terminated with the Internal DSA Error message.
To resolve the issue, the script searches for duplicate entries in ADAM database and deletes unnecessary entries.
