After moving the AD user to a new AD server and reconfigure Foglight to point to the new AD server, the user cannot connect anymore. The authentication failed.
The user needs to be re-imported to use the new AD server for the authentication.
- Please delete the already imported AD user - go to: "Users & Security | Manage Users, Groups, Roles"
- Select the tab "Users"
- Tick the AD user(s) and click on "Remove Users"
After the user has been delete, try to connect with the AD user again. When getting the expected error, connect with an Foglight admin user and add the needed roles/groups to the new imported user.
Now the AD user should be able to connect again.
