A backup of the NetVault database fails "Database Schedule Manager had error" - "Scheduler database failed integrity check". Running nvscheddbcheck results in the output:
Check Policies table name index
Policies: Policy Name entry out of order (Id = 19, Last Id = 6)
Policies: Policy Name entry out of order (Id = 4, Last Id = 12)
Check Policies table Id index
Check Sets table 'DeviceOptionsSets' Id index
Database has lost its' integrity, cannot continue
The checks in the NetVault database expect the Policy Name index to be case sensitive, whereas it actually is not. Consequently, in cases where this matters, the checker arrives at a different result to what is actually present and fails.
The schedule database checker has now been corrected in NV8.0 Update 2.
