CAUSE 1:
The password of the Foglight database user has expired or the configured FMS database is linked to another database
CAUSE 2:
The Foglight database user does not have sufficient privilege to access the "foglight" schema.
CAUSE 3:
The listener port changed after the Foglight installation finished.
CAUSE 4:
Password for credential used to start SQL Server service had changed so SQL Server repository was down.
WORKAROUND 1:
If the database is linked to another database, Foglight is not able to use it, due to wrong credential.
Make sure the the database is not linked to another database.
WORKAROUND 2:
Assign the necessary privilege to the Foglight database user to access the "foglight" schema.
WORKAROUND 3:
Make sure the listener port is correct set in the server.config file. To get the listener status/details run the below command from the listener control utility:
lsnrctl status
WORKAROUND 4:
Update the password under the Log On tab of the Service used to start SQL Server.
