Description: Backups to VTL media are getting a Media Error
Symptoms: Looking at the Log Context of the error it has the error 1450 Failed to write: Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service.
Here are a few things within Netvault you can try
Open the Netvault Configurator on the NV Server Go to "Process Manager" tab. Set "Shared Memory Used for Process Table" to 16000. Set "Number of Progress Buffers Available to Plugin" to 200 and select Apply.
Go to Windows Services and look at the properties for "Netvault Process Manager" and select "Log On" tab and enable the box "Allow service to interact with desktop". Stop and Restart the Service.
Repeat this same procedure on the Netvault Client.
This is as much as we can do Within Netvault to try to resolve this issue.
Another thing you can look at is how the cache memory is setup for both the NV Server and Client. Make sure the share of processor and memory time is set to "programs" (the default). Also make sure the Virtual memory is set to recommended settings.
