Description:
Backup failed when SnapSure option is check in an EMC Celerra 5.5 NDMP backup.
Symptoms:
From NetVault binary log, the following messages appear;
Background 2008/01/2008 11:35:37 439 Media Mover has halted as all data has been transferred
Background 2008/01/2008 11:35:37 439 Media Sent Plugin space left estimate of XXXXXMb after backing up 0 MB
Error 2008/01/2008 11:35:37 439 Data Plugin Data operation aborted
Error 2008/01/2008 11:35:39 439 Jobs Fatal error: Backup failed
Error 2008/01/2008 11:35:39 439 Jobs Job Status: Backup Failed
The job failed indicating that all data has been transferred. However, it also shows that 0MB has been transferred.

1. To use the SNAPSURE option, please enable this feature within the EMC NAS first. Please see the relevant EMC documentation for details.
2. If the feature is not enabled on the NAS, please unselect this option when creating the NetVault backup job to avoid this problem.
