'Ensure this backup is the first on the media' option splits RMAN backup over multiple tapes
Symptoms:
RMAN backup will include more than one stream such as for tablespace and archivelog. When RMAN backup is configured with the 'Ensure this backup is the first on the media' option enabled, each data stream would target different tape in order to meet this job option.
