There are times when BakBone Customer Support will request the configuration of a tape library when troubleshooting a device problem. This procedure will send tape device configuration to the NetVault logs for BakBoneâ€™s analysis.
1. In the NetVault GUI, open Device Management screen.
2. Unload tapes from drives.
3. Perform 'Open Door' on library.
4. Perform 'Offline' on drives.
5. Wait 5 minutes.
6. Perform "Online' on drives.
7. Perform 'Door Closed' on library.
8. Generate a binary log, compress it and send it to support.
