Description: Can A Scheduled Backup Job Be Disabled, Without Deleting it?

Symptoms: Have a Backup Job that I do not want to have run on its Scheduled time/day. How can I prevent it from running without deleting the job itself?

To disable a backup job from running at its regularly scheduled time/day - without deleting the actual backup - you can go into NetVault Job Manager, right click on the backup job that you would like to put on hold, and choose the option "Hold". This will stop any backup from running at its regularly scheduled time/day. It can be made to resume its next scheduled time/day to run a backup by right clicking on it again and choosing the option to "Resume".
