In Linux versions of Netvault sets and uses several environment variables which are used by some of the shell scripts that provide extra functionality like emailing the log of the last backup etc. There appears to be an issue with an environment variable that we call $NV_HOME. Some scripts are expecting this variable as $NVHOME but only $NV_HOME is set in /etc/rc.d/init.d/netvault.
This is being addressed but in the meantime adding the line:
NVHOME=$NV_HOME
at the top of scripts that use $NVHOME is a suitable workaround and ensures that both variables are available.
