Description: Backup completes successfully with no errors in the log, however, the tape is always marked "Read Only"
Step 1: From the main NetVault window click on Status or Job Management.
Step 2: Select the job or jobs that are marking tape read only
Step 3: Select to modify job
Step 4: Select the "Target Tab"
Step 5: Unselect the option "Protect media from further writes after backup".
Step 6: Resubmit and save job.
