Description:
When restoring windows file, the restore fails with "security ID may not be assigned as the owner of this object".
Symptoms:
* The file server is win2000 server, netvault is used to backup this file server. It exports directories.
* Users' mahines (windows xp) share directory from the file server. Such directory is configured as "my documents" folder. -
Resolution
St. Bernard open file manager was installed. Upon uninstallation of open file manager, this problem went away. -
