Description:
Running Netvault Database backup would succeed but always got an error in the Windows Application log that said, “Reporting queued error: faulting application nvscheddbcheck.exe, version 0.0.0.0, faulting module libnv6.dll, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x00024226”
this issue also happens with libnv664.dll
there are two versions of libnv6.dll (or libnv664.dll) on the server: one is in C:\windows\System32 and the other is in \lib\
if the issue appears, then you can check if the two files are the same (check also the modified date) and you will usually find that the one in \lib\ is newer than the other.
1) stop the NV services
2) rename or move the C:\windows\System32\libnv6.dll
3) copy (NOT move) the file \lib\libnv6.dll to the folder C:\windows\System32\ (overwriting if a copy of the old one if still there)
4) restart the NV services
