Backup job hangs in a state of "Waiting for Job Options".
Customers with installations of WindowsXP and Windows2003 may experience hung filesystem backup jobs after upgrading to NetVault 7.1.1.
Cause of problem:
This phenomenon is caused by a feature in the new filesystem plugin which checks the Windows Registry and excludes files from backup based on the value of keys in "FilesNotToBackup" and "FilesNotToRestore".
The problem is resolved in version 6.23 and later of the filesystem plugin for Windows. Customer's experiencing this problem are advised to either contact Customer Support to obtain the new version of the Filesystem Plugin, or upgrade NetVault to Version 7.1.2 or later.
