Backup Media not showing up in the Restore window for restore.
Backup needed for restore is not visible in the Restore Window.
Select the backup media that is needed for the restore, insert it into the library, then go into the NetVault GUI and select "Device Management". Find the tape in the library, right click and choose "Scan" - this will scan the backup back into the Media Database. You will now see it in the Restore window.
**Note** Never scan an expired piece of media without enabling the write protect tab, if you have or are going to have a Backup job that may start and possibly use this media for its backup. You will lose the data that was originally on there .
