Team Foundation Server (TFS) error during Check IN without Check IN Other permission: TF14098: ... (4295690)

Unable to Check IN in Toad unless the Check IN Other permission is added to the TFS user (see error below). In TFS this works fine even without this permission. Not allowed to add the Check IN Other permission to TFS users; Toad should be able to work even without this permission as the user is only checking-in objects that they own.

Error:
TF14098: Access Denied: User TC\BURROWI needs Checkin, CheckinOther permission(s) for $/SPPA_APPN/Dev/Dev/DatabaseScripts/CAWIS.V_25_WSDRS_CAIS_5008_FILE.VW.

WORKAROUND:

Add the 'CheckInOther' TFS Permission to the TFS user(s) affected, if allowed.  Please consult with your TFS Administrator.

STATUS:

Waiting for fix in a future release of Toad for Oracle.
