When a Notes user sends an invitation or email to a large number of Notes users and a couple of Exchange users. A bounce message for the Exchange users is returned: Error 552 CMN Message took too long to process. Error "CMN Message took too long to process" is listed in the Quest CMN Mail Connector error log.
It will take CMN longer to process the message than is configured in the GUI
The following steps will resolve this issue:
1.) Open the CMN Management Console
2.) Under the Mail Connector, select Advanced Message Settings
3.) Locate the Maximum Message Process Time setting
4.) Increase this value to 10 minutes.
5.) Click the Save button
6.) Click the Activate button
