Unable to start up Spotlight - it hangs, it freezes -
Description
Client console of Spotlight on SQL Server Enterprise cannot be launched, it freezes and the process has to be killed. -
Resolution
Stop the Diagnostic Server (QDS) service (in control panel ... services), then launch the Spotlights console and once everything connects good then start the QDS service again.
