Switching between Tabs in Toad Editor window causes text to appear in corrupted East Asian Charac
User opens a file encoded in UTF16 Big-Endian in the Editor window. When working in the Editor and switching between different tabs, the Editor window incorrectly displays the text as corrupted East Asian (Chinese) text or empty boxes.
This issue has been reported to the development team for fix in a future release of Toad for Oracle.
The workaround is to open the file and do a Save As and save the file with UTF16 Little-Endian, ANSI, or UTF8 encoding.
