WORKAROUND 1
Ensure that you are entering the correct authorization key and site message. Remove any trailing spaces. The site message should be entered as is, including the hyphens.
WORKAROUND 2
Please, go to "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users Application Data\Quest Software\Performance Analysis MSSQL SA" and C:\ProgramData\Quest Software\Performance Analysis MSSQL SA, then rename the files QSAuthorize27.key to QSAuthorize27.key.bak.
WORKAROUND 3
Please, do a right click on the Performance Analysis GUI client icon on the desktop and select Run as Administrator.
This has to be done even though you logged into your pc with your Administrator account.
- Please launch Performance Analysis and connect to a monitored instance
- Go to Help | About
- Under Product Info click on the link below the version info (hypertext will be in blue and may say trial version).
- A popup will appear that says "Do you want to modify the current license key", select OK
- After you enter the license key and site message the Performance Analysis GUI needs to be restarted for the license to take effect.
This should update the only QSAuthorize27.key file correctly.
