Error "ORA-06550 ... XPERT_TRACE_FILE_IO.VALIDATE must be declared" when running Trace Setup. -
Description
User opens SQL Optimizer and clicks on Options | Trace Setup, selects the connection to use, clicks on UTL File Access method and user sees all the fields disabled underneath. User then clicks Run Trace wizard, selects UTL file and clicks on Install package. The following error is displayed:
"ORA-06550 On line 1... XPERT_TRACE_FILE_IO.VALIDATE must be declared"
