Environment consists of two source domains and one target domain, one of the source domains contains active user accounts, another contains disabled user accounts and mailboxes.
Accounts from both source domains have been migrated/synchronized and merged into one single target account, but now ADAM DB (custom map, Vmover.ini) contain duplicate entries for some users.
What can be done to ensure resources will be updated correctly?
This is a common scenario and since 2 different objects from 2 different source domains have been merged into one single account ADAM will contains entries for both migrated/synchronized objects, it will show duplicates.
One of possible workarounds is to use Custom Map in RUM and the filters feature. In Resource Updating Manager please select Action | Specify Custom Map.
Use Filters and select the domain pair where source domain is holding active user accounts, unselect another domain pair and close with OK. Now newly created Vmover.ini should contain only single entries for each user, entries from one source domain.
