When attempting to log into CVS, the following error message is displayed:
"VCS provider logon failed: Failed to execute cvs.exe -d :servername:username@xxxxx.xxxx.xom:2401/xxx/cvsroot -f login
The system cannot find the file specified."
Toad is unable to locate the cvs.exe
1. Please ensure that the cvs executable (e.g. cvs.exe) is in the environment variable path.
2. Also ensure that View | Toad Options | Team Coding | Click 'VCS Provider Options' | CVS configuration options is set correctly.
By default, the executable is cvs.exe and Toad expects the path to this file to be in your environment variable path. You can also point directly to the path using the ellipses [...] to browse to your exe.
