Target Event log :
"Warning: 15034 - Operation on "OWNER.TABLENAME" is took longer than expected. Make sure proper index is being used. [sp_opst (QUEUENAME)/22438]"

This message indicates that it took 5 seconds or longer for Oracle to post these messages.

You need to look into indexes on this TABLE and may want to tune this table to speed up DML on them.

To see what is the sql being run at that time run show sql from sp_ctrl.

sp_ctrl> show sql

This will give you the sql and you can see if it is using the correct index or not.See if this can be tuned.

RESOLUTION:

1. If there is an index on the table already, then the table should be analyzed to get more up to date statistics.
2. If there is more than one index, analyze the table and add the index you want Shareplex to use to the hints file in SP_SYS_VARDIR/DATA directory.Be sure there is only one index entry in the hints file per table.See the Shareplex Admin guide on how to add it to the hints file.
3. If there is no index on the table, then add one and analyze the table.
You can run the query below to see which columns are used mostly and create a index if needed.
select num_distinct, column_name from dba_tab_columns where table_name='TABLENAME'and owner='OWNER' order by num_distinct;
