An error is returned when trying to install the Migrator for Notes to SharePoint clients.
This setup requires SharePoint (WSS 3 or MOSS) or Lotus Notes Domino.
Inspite of having Lotus Client installed on the desktop machine the install would not go through because of the key "Path" not present at the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\LotusNotes.
1. Uninstall Lotus Notes Client and reinstall the Lotus Notes Client on the machine.
2. Check if the key "Path" is present at the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\LotusNotes or (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\Lotus\Notes\x for 64-bit installs) which is where Notes Migrator for SharePoint needs to read the PATH variable for the Lotus Notes install path.
3. There should be an environment variable for the lotus client install path (by default C:Program Fileslotus otes) in the environment variables located in the System variables at (System Properties->Advanced->Environment Variables->System Variables).
4. Run msi as Adminisrator.
