The DBSS Page Life Expectancy fires alarms for values when the buffer cache page life expectancy less than the threshold. Why does this happen? -

By design -
Resolution
The alarm is invoked when the buffer cache page life expectancy falls below a predefined threshold. It is the opposite of being higher than a threshold that are usually seen in alarms.
By default the alarm thresholds are
- Normal is a page life expectancy over 300 seconds.
- Warning is a page life expectancy between 90 seconds and 300 seconds.
- Critical is a page life expectancy less than 90 seconds.
- Fatal is not configured.
If the agent encountered a page life expectancy of 15 seconds (for example), a critical alarm would be fired.
