What metric contains the originating server PID of a blocking session in SQL Server?
The column with the originating server PID is host_process_id from sys.dm_exec_sessions -
Cause
The host_process_id is not collected from sys.dm_exec_sessions in either the SQL PI or base blocking collections. -

STATUS
Enhancement Request FGSS-I-180 has been logged to collect the host_process_id from sys.dm_exec_sessions. This will be reviewed by Product Management for consideration in a future release of the SQL Server cartridge.
