Description
When launching the GPOADmin MMC after installation and entering windows/SQL credentials in configuration store settings the console crashes and the following error occurs in GPOADmin logs: Procedure or function 'GetServiceOptions' expects parameter '@serviceID', which was not supplied -
Cause
The database was not initialized properly, or that the version was not set correctly when running the database scripts to create the database. -
Resolution
Setting the version is the last part of the scripts and you should be able to set the version manually. To do this add the following extended property to the Extended Properties on the database:
Property name: Version
Value: 5.16.0.0 (for a 5.16 database)
